Your shoulder is an incredibly complex joint and decreased mobility can be a serious clinical finding. The joint capsule of the shoulder joint contains ligaments that hold
the shoulder bones to each other. If the capsule becomes inflamed, the
shoulder bones are unable to move freely in the joint, hence the term
"frozen shoulder".
